Start-up MesoGlue in interview: "Heraeus Accelerator is one of the few (if not the only) programs where hard science startups can test their ideas"

The US-startup is one of four startups in the Heraeus Accelerator. We asked the team how they benefit from the Heraeus Accelerator.

Paul Elliott, Hanchen Huang, Stephen Stagon and Chuanwei Zhuo from MesoGlue develop innovative solutions to bonding challenges. They focus on all metal connections formed at low or room temperature. Their techniques provide novel solutions for thermal interface materials, soldering and 3D printing.

Why did you choose the Heraeus Accelerator? And how did you benefit from the Heraeus Accelerator?

Heraeus’ technology leadership, reputation, supportive environment in open innovations, as well as the rigorous screening process of the Accelerator program combinedly convinced us that this was a great program to participate in.

We have been able to learn tremendous industry insights, which have since greatly reshaped our offerings and application focuses.

How did the Heraeus Accelerator help you to further develop your product?

The testing feedback helped MesoGlue pin-point the exact application needs, directing us to focus on the right path, and use our resources more effectively on the product development.

Would you recommend the Heraeus Accelerator to fellow startups and why?

I will highly recommend the Heraeus Accelerator. Unlike other programs, Heraeus Accelerator is one of the few (if not the only) programs where hard science startups can test their ideas and offerings, gain direct and accurate industrial feedback, understand the market needs, and receive valuable mentorship, all with a committed and collaborative Heraeus team.
