The Heraeus Electronic Chemicals business unit has grown dynamically in the past few years. In particular, the demand for ultrapure, organic chemical products, for highly efficient capacitors, new smartphone displays as well as semiconductor chips for the electronic and automotive industry have contributed to this positive development. To keep up with this trend in the future, Heraeus Electronic Chemicals is changing its name to Heraeus Epurio and is strengthening its global, strategic growth. Epurio is close to its customers with production sites in Leverkusen, Germany and Dayton, Ohio, USA and sales offices in China, Korea, Japan, and Taiwan.
“The conductive polymers and special chemicals business has grown substantially in recent years and will continue to profit from the future global trends in the electronics industry. With the new name, we want to emphasize our special position for electronic chemicals in the market,” says Bernd Stenger, President of Heraeus Epurio. “We want to expand our partnerships with customers, cooperate with start-ups and also grow with additional acquisitions,” continues Stenger.
