May 1st, 2022 - Heraeus Conamic, a leading-edge material specialist for the manufacturing and processing of the industry’s highest purity fused silica, announced in November 2021 it has acquired the Korean company HS Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. (HSAM), a converter and distributor of semi-finished quartz materials for the semiconductor and other industries. Effective May 1st, 2022, the former business of HSAM is fully integrated into Heraeus Conamic and operates under the company name Heraeus Korea Corporation.

Since the acquisition of HSAM in November 2021, we have already made huge progress in strengthening our presence as a supplier of quartz base materials in Korea. By operating under the roof of Heraeus Korea effective May 1st, 2022, our Korean business will benefit even more from the reputation and strength of the Heraeus Group.”
