Optimizing UV output is the critical factor of reactor design. A UV lamp with higher output, drawing less energy proportionately is, by definition, more efficient. When the UV output of the lamp passes through a quartz tube with high transmission, it makes even better use of the input power. Higher UV output with less loss equals fewer lamps, fewer sleeves and excellent cost of ownership.
