Heraeus Medical participates in research project on artificial intelligence in the service of diversity (KIDD)

The digital transformation of our working environment confronts companies and organisations with new challenges. The research project "KIDD - Artificial Intelligence in the Service of Diversity" is one of eleven projects launched by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS) under the umbrella of the New Quality of Work Initiative (INQA) in October 2020.

The aim of the project is to explore which criteria are needed so that human-centred digital systems, especially AI, are not only transparent and understandable in the workplace context, but also generate better results by taking diverse perspectives into account. The aim is to utilise the potential of digitalisation, to actively shape the digital transformation and to focus on people and their abilities.

The KIDD consortium brings together 8 companies and partner organisations that will implement the research project over a research period of 3 years. The participating companies come from very different economic sectors ranging from SMEs to internationally active large corporations.
