But it happened at that time that a bid went out from the young company Heraeus AMLOY to be appreciated Heraeus-wide. And this appreciation was the very first one and happened at the time when Dr. Jürgen Wachter was the head of the small company. And everyone who wanted to be cherished went to his start-up. Then Valeska Melde, from the Marketing and Sales Department, also went to the young company in Hanau, which is called AMLOY because she is from the House and Family of Heraeus, so that she could be cherished together with Eugen Milke, the Head of the Innovation Department.
And when they arrived there, the time came for the company to grow. And so they grew with the start-up AMLOY, which specialised in the production of amorphous components, and moved to Karlstein because they no longer had enough space in Hanau. And there were colleagues from the same field who were looking for new challenges and joined the ever-growing team. And Engel approached them and thus built up the production of amorphous component by injection molding. And Engel spoke to them: Fear not! Behold, I announce great joy to you, which shall be given to all your colleagues; a new business idea is born today, which deals with the solution of previously unsolved requirements.
And soon there was another partner named Trumpf standing next to Engel, praising AMLOY and saying, "Praise be to the inventor of amorphous zirconium-based alloys. Together with you, we will transform amorphous alloys into amorphous components via 3D printing. And when the partners of AMLOY went home and the young company was running quite independently, the colleagues said among themselves: Let's go to Amloy now and see what happens there, which Heraeus has announced. And they came in a hurry and found a small but well-positioned team, Valeska, Eugen and Jürgen, and the young company in Karlstein.
