Heraeus Sells Semiconductor Chemicals Business of Heraeus Epurio to Brewer Science, Inc.

Businesses

Heraeus has signed an agreement to sell the Semiconductor Chemicals (SC) business of Heraeus Epurio to U.S.-based Brewer Science, Inc. The transaction includes the semiconductor chemicals production facility in Dayton, Ohio, as well as the associated sales and support activities in Asia.

Brewer Science is a leading global supplier of materials and processes for the manufacture of advanced microelectronics and has been a long-standing customer of the SC business. The company brings extensive expertise in the semiconductor industry and views the business as a strong complement to its existing portfolio.

As part of the transaction, Brewer Science will acquire the Semiconductor Chemicals business, including the associated employees. Both companies are committed to ensuring a respectful and smooth transition. By becoming part of Brewer Science, the business will benefit from an organization whose strategic focus is closely aligned with the markets and technologies served by the Semiconductor Chemicals business.

“We have found in Brewer Science a partner that values the technological strength of the SC business, the innovative capabilities of its teams, and the importance of long-term customer relationships. Given Brewer Science’s strong position in the semiconductor industry, we are confident that the business is well positioned for continued development and future growth,” said Klemens Brunner, Managing Director Semiconductor & Electronics / Industrials and Member of the Board of Managing Directors of the Heraeus Group.

The transaction is expected to close on July 31, 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
