Infrared heat for pipeline production

Pipelines are used to transport oil or gas over long distances as safely and economically as possible. To achieve this, the tubes must meet very high requirements.
Tailor-made infrared systems help produce tubes faster and with higher quality.

Infrared emitters help build longer pipeline tubes.

Pipelines are usually made of prefabricated tubes that are relatively short and assembled and installed on site. Underwater pipelines need good insulation to keep the oil fluid.
Infrared systems can be tailor-made to substantially improve the necessary thermal processes.
Infrared heat is used to cure an adhesive that locates a novel insulating material. QRC infrared emitters with nanoreflector heat plastic fabrics without contact to help build longer sections of pipeline tubes directly on site.

To produce the pipeline, tailor-made infrared systems are used the key part of which is the   QRC® infrared emitter with nanoreflector .

Infrared emitters for fast, lightweight and safe underwater pipelines

Infrared heat cures an adhesive that locates a polypropylene material applied around a conventional steel tube. This provides protection against corrosion and mechanical stress and also thermal insulation.
Tensions at the tube are reduced and installation of the tubes is substantially accelerated.

A newly developed method allows the production of long sections of pipeline tubes directly on site. This reduces delivery times, allows faster installation and increases the pressure resistance of the tubes.
