Ameya Nalavde, Sales Analyst

Working in an open space allows us to make sure that we are providing our customers with the products and services that matter.”

Upon earning a bachelor’s degree from Mumbai University and a Master’s degree at California State, I began my journey with Heraeus when my previous company, Fusion UV Systems Inc., was acquired by Heraeus. I am now a Sales Analyst in our Gaithersburg, Maryland office where I support the Sales Support department and Heraeus Noblelight Fusion as a whole. My responsibilities include:

- Interpreting results and data using a range of techniques

- Working directly with project and business leaders to identify analytical requirements

- Designing, implementing and maintaining business solutions

The most enjoyable part of my job is that I get the opportunity to interact with both my peers and colleagues in other departments within Heraeus while also regularly interacting with our customers. Critically thinking and problem solving with my colleagues are essential aspects of always pleasing the customer. One of the accomplishments that I am most proud of is how we were able to win back the services of a number of our customers that had previously decided to take their business elsewhere. Through hard-work, diligence and persistence, we were able to regain their loyalty and continue to produce high quality products for those customers.
