Attendees of this session will discuss the genetic, proteomic and phenotypic states which increase the likelihood of PJI in adult reconstruction patients.

Additionally, presentations on the latest diagnostic modalities for understanding these states both before surgery and in the presence of active infection as well as how patient-specific understanding of these states can lead to targeted prevention and treatment will be discussed.
