AGXX Product Types

To meet the requirements of a wide variety of applications and markets, Heraeus is continuously working on the optimization and modification of AGXX-particles. Depending on customer requirements, the parameters particle size, particle brightness as well as the carrier material of the antimicrobial particles can be configured.

Due to the continuous further development of the particles, different AGXX variations are available today:

AGXX Celulose

AGXX-Cellulose

  • Carrier material: Cellulose
  • Possible applications: Paints, Lacquers, Mortar
  • Particle size: D50: 50 µm
AGXX Carbon

AGXX-Carbon

  • Carrier material: Activated carbon pellets, granulates, powder
  • Possible applications: Water and Air filtration
  • Particle size: D50: 50 µm – 3 mm
AGXX Hybrid

AGXX-Hybrid

  • Carrier material: Aluminum dioxide
  • Possible applications: Polymers, Textiles, Lacquers. Paints
  • Particle size: D50: 1 - 5 µm

AGXX-Hybrid Suspension

  • Carrier material: Aluminum dioxide
  • Possible applications: Paints and Lacquers
  • Particle size: D50: 1 - 5 µm
